Beach Manager

Applicants must have experience in supervision and staff scheduling. Customer service experience is also required.

Salary: $12,000 Season (Salary Increase subject to budget approval through shareholder process)

Beach Managers begin work the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend and end the day following Labor Day (Beach Season)

ABI's Beach Managers are in charge of scheduling and managing all Beach Checkers and private party reservations. 

Must be able to work weekends/holidays and weekdays as needed.

Beach Manager Position Description

Beach Managers are responsible for reviewing Beach Checker job applications (if available), interviewing qualified candidates, and presenting the list of selected interviewees to the Board of Directors for approval to hire. Beach Managers are responsible for scheduling Beach Checkers to ensure adequate coverage at all beaches and boat ramps throughout the season. Additional responsibility includes supervising Beach Checkers to ensure adequate verification logging is being documented and turned in daily, beach cleanup duties are being performed on a daily basis, ABI Beach Rules are being enforced, and handling more difficult situations when Beach Checkers request assistance. The Beach Manager oversees all party reservations and provides party parking passes as allotted for the respective party date. Beach Managers are also required to work collectively with the respective Board appointed Beach Representative to report security and maintenance related concerns.

Salary starting at $15/hour (Salary Increase subject to budget approval through shareholder process)

Beach Checker Position Description

Beach Checkers are responsible for greeting beachgoers and accompanying authorized guests, as well as boat ramp users.  All occupants must display a current valid beach pass and can only have four (4) authorized guests. All vehicles parking on beach property must display a current valid parking pass affixed to the lower driver's side windshield. No guest parking is permitted. Guests must park outside beach property and are not permitted to park on the beach access roadway or impede traffic at any time. Party reservations will be permitted up to ten (10) party parking passes provided by the Beach Manager for the day of the reservation only. All beachgoers are expected to follow ABI Beach Rules, monitored by the Beach Checker.

ABI registrar

Applicants must have experience in data entry and reporting. Customer service experience is also required.

Salary $10,000 annually (Salary Increase subject to budget approval through shareholder process)

Work is required January through December as needed

Work schedule is flexible

The Registrar is required perform invoice/billing for annual ABI deed-mandated lot fees and regulation-required access users fees, as well as processing orders and creating/issuing necessary invoices for amenity passes and beach reservations. Registrar works with the Shares Manager on requests for the purchase/transfer of ABI Shares. Registrar is responsible for accurate and consistent data entry of such transactions and passes issued using the ABI database. The Registrar is required to perform accounts payable duties using Quickbooks for payments received via check/credit card, works closely with the Treasurer and Secretary, and is required to attend monthly ABI Board meetings to provide the Registrar report and share any issues related to the registration process. Registrar works with ACA Board Members hosting Arden Information Sessions where payments can be accepted and orders processed in person at the Arden Town Hall community building during agreed upon dates.
