MAKE A DONATION TO ARDEN BEACHES INC to support much-needed maintenance, renovation, and improvement projects for Arden's private beaches, ramps, and park areas. The outdated annual deed-mandated lot assessments are simply not sufficient to adequately maintain the integrity of our beach properties and to fund the necessary annual operations to keep our beaches safe and private for the exclusive use of qualifying lot owners, their dependents and authorized guests, as well as qualifying renters/boarders, and their dependents and authorized guests. Additional funding is needed to address the capital improvement program needs for maintenance of the infrastructure of these properties that are in dire need of attention as a result of decades of neglect for lack of adequate funding. Donations supplement additional funding efforts implemented in the 1980s through amenity user fees, and in 2018 through the implementation of an regulation-required access user fee for the issuance of beach passes to authorize use of the properties. While the access user fee increase has been implemented through the 2023 annual shareholder meeting and vote, it will take time to adequately fund the organization's operating budget providing minimum maintenance and operational expenses, while building a reserve fund for capital improvement infrastructure maintenance.
